Les Paul Style Electric Guitar

Les Paul style electric guitar

We had a Les Paul style electric guitar come in that had been left in a cupboard, and left unloved, and in need of a restring and setup.
First thing we did was remove what strings were still left on it, and gave the fretboard a clean and rehydrate with lemon oil, and then cleaned the instrument with Dunlop’s formula 65 clean and polish.

We then tightened all the hardware on the instrument, and then fitted some Ernie Ball 10 gauge guitar strings.

After checking neck relief, action and intonation we found they all need adjusting and setting back to the correct specs. We reset the pickup heights, balancing both for equal volume, and plugged the guitar in.

Playing and sounding great, we returned the guitar to another happy customer!
