Seymore Duncan Hot-rail pickups!
We had a Squire Telecaster come in that although the customer loved the overall feel of the guitar, felt that the pickups were a bit thin and weak sounding.
He decided on a set of Seymore Duncan Hot-rail pickups as a replacement for the stock pickups.
After removing the stock pickups, we fitted and wired up the new Hot-rails.
While the guitar was on the repair bench, the customer also wanted a setup and restring to make the guitar play and feel as good as it could.
We cleaned the instrument and fitted some D’Addario electric guitar strings. We then checked the setup, and adjusted everything to the correct specs.
Plugging in, the guitar had much more power, playing and sounding great!
The guitar was returned to a happy customer.
