Mandolin with nut problem
We had a beautiful hand made Mandolin in, that had a strange buzzing coming from one of the strings when the string was played open, while the fretted notes were ok. The buzzing seemed to be caused by the nut groove. After resetting the grooves in the nut, every string played buzz free.
The Instrument was then returned to a very happy customer who was planning to spend the rest of the day enjoying the Mandolin out in his garden in the sun.
