Gibson Acoustic Guitar
We had a nice old Gibson acoustic in today that we fitted a Fishman AG-series under saddle pickup and a Fishman Powerjack pre amp to. Although the pickup doesn’t have any control over volume or eq, the tone was very even without any push in specific frequency’s giving a nice balanced tone. The Power jack gave the new pickup system a boost in output, stopping the guitar feeling under powered when used live.
Once fitted the guitar was returned to a very happy customer, who will be getting great live use from the instrument.
