Kansas Acoustic guitar re-string
Today, at Roberts Instrument Repairs, we had a nostalgic morning. An old Kansas acoustic guitar came in for some tlc and a restring. The guitar is identical in every way, including the colour, to my first guitar. Purchased at a car boot sale many, many years ago! So, after a good clean, we fitted some D’Addario extra light strings so as not to put any unnecessary strain on an old instrument. The guitar was then returned to a very happy owner, giving them many more years of playing from this treasured old favourite. I wonder how many other guitarists out there started with one of these?
