The Fender Hot Rod Deluxe III amp is a 40watt all valve combo that is the best selling amp of all time. Considering how many great amps classic and modern there are,it shows how highly thought of the amp is. From big stage to small pub, pro to amateur the amp is highly favoured.
The amp itself is a 3 channel amp with a real spring reverb and an effects loop. The 3 channels are foot switchable with the supplied foot switch. The 3 channels are a clean, drive and more drive! All 3 share a four band EQ. The clean channel gives a classic Fender tone that’s a perfect pedal platform. The drive tones are like when a classic old tweed Fender amp is pushed hard. The more drive channel gives much more saturation on top of the drive sound, great for lead breaks.
The latest incarnation of the amp “version III” has got features that players of previous versions felt would improve them. A big improvement is that all the controls have a gradual but controlled change to the sound, allowing finer tuning of your tone.
