The Carbon Copy analogue delay by MXR is a fully analogue delay pedal that features 20ms to 600ms delay times, this lets you go from old school slap back to full Gilmore ambient soundscapes.
Housed in the standard MXR pedal casing, the pedal features four controls; Mix controls how much of the effect is present in your sound; Regen controls the amount of delay repeats and Delay increases or decreases the delay time. There is also a mini switch called Mod, with this engaged it puts a chorus effect onto the delay repeats, giving the sound of an old tape echo machine. The width and speed of the chorus effect can be adjusted to personal taste by two trim pots inside the pedal.
The pedal is true bypass and can be run off a 9volt power supply or 9volt battery. I would recommend running the pedal with a power supply, as, like other delay pedals they eat up battery’s.
This is a great pedal, that graces millions of pedal boards around the world. A very worthwhile investment.
